Tales of a long lost Kiwi

Booked in the accomodation this morning... talk about last minute plans. Lucas came round to pay for the train and then decided we would pay in chch, which gave me about -10 minutes to pack, by the time I had finished packing Lucas had called them anyway to book seats.

Finally got to chch after stopping in Ashburton for Maccy D's... Signed up at United Video just to get some DVDs for while we are away, Rose Red was out D:

Floated around some random scungey SuperValue in Addington - couldn't really find anything I wanted so ended up with 2 mandarins, (the only niceish ones I could find) some LCMs and some chips, (but not Burger Rings LOL)

Back to Jail where we hogged the cinema room and watched Bitten which is a random (cheap) vampire movie that got confused with cowboys(?), and also Quarantine which was prety cool, although fairly similar to 28 Days and 12 Monkeys.

Stayed up till about 1ish talking with Lucas about all kinds of crap which was cool... except then I had nightmares D:

Hafta get up early tamorra ta catch the train.

Tuesday 28/07/09 - Catch the train to Greymouth
Stay with the Global Village Backpackers

Wednesday 29/07/09 - Catch the train back to Christchurch
Back in the Jailhouse

Thursday 30/07/09 - Drive home

• Togs, (to check out the spa's in Arthurs Pass and Greymouth!)

• DVD's

• Walking shoes

• Warm clothes

• Make-up etc, for when we are back in Christchurch
